Dance Workshops

These period dance workshops are fun for schools and communities. Dances are taught with appropriate music for the Elizabethan, Victorian, Colonial American, Celtic, and Greek time periods.

Renaissance Dance

This workshop teaches English Country Dancing, a favorite pastime of both the nobility and the common folk.

Early American Dance

This workshop teaches favorite dances of both the Colonial and Civil War eras.

 

Celtic Dance

This workshop teaches a sample of Scottish ceilidh (pronounced Kay-lee) dances, which are stilled enjoyed in the Celtic lands.

Greek Dance

This workshop offers an introduction to traditional Greek dances from both ancient and modern Greece.
